Description

This i-Grape white grape extract is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial, which acts against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It can be the basis of formulations for the treatment of diseases of microbial origin in the animal health, food and veterinary sectors (livestock and pets). Applications from this extract are being developed in the fields of animal feed, veterinary medicine and artificial insemination of animals. (https://www.neogiant.eu/). Its antioxidant activity is superior to that of the synthetic preservatives BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) – widely used in many consumer products – as well as to that of vitamin E (the most important fat-soluble antioxidant), and far superior to that of sulphites used in Oenology. It can be the basis for formulations for antioxidant and/or preservative purposes in the food sector, both for humans and animals.
